In this post I will analyse the responses that we got on our survey
The first two questions on my survey were only there to help me learn more about our audience's ages and genders. We discovered that the majority of our audience is under the age of 20, and the majority of them are females.

With the responses to the next question, I discovered that the majority of our audience is made up of students, which fits perfectly with the narrative that I have in mind, and based on their ages, we can conclude that they are college/university students.
We can see from the next question that the majority of our audience watches music videos on YouTube and Instagram, which helps us determine where we should post our music video for our audience. With this response, we can also see how technological advancement has resulted in MTV (which was one of the first channels to show music videos) becoming less popular among young people or the general population.
The next question reveals that our target audience's favourite genre is Indie, which fits perfectly with the narrative and song that I have in mind.
Our audience prefers narrative-based and performance-based music videos (my audience has similar tastes to mine), which will help me plan my music video so that I can incorporate both of these elements in my music video.
The following question would assist me and Myiesha in designing the album cover, as our audience preferred abstract album covers.
This question assisted us in song selection because we needed to find a song with a lot of string instruments because that is our audeince's favourite instrument to hear in songs.
The following question just asked what music videos were their favourite and why this just gave us an insight more into what our audience liked in the music video so that we could incorporate some of those elements in ours
The following question simply asked our audience what they disliked seeing in music videos so that we could eliminate those elements from our plan (if we included them) The majority of the responses mentioned nudity, which we had already decided not to include in our music video.
This question assisted us in planning our narrative because we discovered that our audience believes it is important for the lyrics and visuals to be cohesive, so we would have to choose a song based on our narrative.
The next question simply helped us get to know our audience better by asking them about their favourite indie artists, which helped us narrow down our song selection options in order to choose an artist who is popular with our audience.
