RECOUNTING EXPERIENCE OF PRODUCTION

By me

Looking back on our entire production process, I believe everything went very smoothly because we didn't have a lot of problems finding our cast or other typical problems that people might face while shooting/producing a media text. However, we encountered a few issues while creating this piece of indie music.
The first issue I believe we had was that we filmed in another country. This was a problem because Myiesha was filming alone in the Philippines, which added stress to her (despite the fact that we had delegated tasks equally beforehand). Second, even though we both tried our hardest to keep in touch, I hadn't seen any scenes until she returned to Pakistan and we met (which was difficult and had me stressing).
Another issue we encountered was filming in the Philippines. This is due to the fact that there are many private streets in the Philippines where filming is not permitted. This was in conflict with our original plan, which was to create a more freestyle music video in which we shot random scenes wherever Myiesha and her cousin were. As a result, our ability to film was limited to some extent.
We later also discovered that we only had a limited number of clips to use to replace the shots we didn't like, and we couldn't reshoot those because we edited the scenes in Pakistan and Myiesha's cousin doesn't live here.
These were the only issues we encountered. Overall, we had a lot of fun staying in touch and shooting the scenes in Pakistan together. And, to our surprise, our production went extremely well (we are extremely fortunate).
