As you can see from our concept outline, we want to show a girl who is returning to visit her family, particularly her sister, and she is travelling while reminiscing on the positive memories and feelings she had with her sister as well as all of the negative memories and feelings she had while studying abroad and living alone.
As you can see from our concept outline, we want to show a girl who is returning to visit her family, particularly her sister, and she is travelling while reminiscing on the positive memories and feelings she had with her sister as well as all of the negative memories and feelings she had while studying abroad and living alone.
We then had to shoot airport scenes because we wanted to show her travelling, so we chose to shoot at the Lahore Jinnah International Airport and also a few scenes at the Philippine airport. This was shot while Myiesha was in the Philippines visiting her family during winter break (she got winter break early, so jealous). We wanted to include scenes of the planes and the runway, as well as the inside of the plane and the airport.
We must also include scenes from Myiesha's apartment in the Philippines and her aunt's house (her aunt's house has the best view in the world). We want to do this so that we can create a sense of warmth and give the impression that two sisters will have after sharing so many memories in one house and then living apart. We had to shoot these scenes in the Philippines because her cousin was not in Pakistan. Myiesha kept me updated and sent me numerous videos and photos throughout the process.
Side note: I had planned for her to shoot a Bollywood-style video in her aunt's fields in the background, but that did not happen...
We would also shoot scenes at our school to represent the protagonist's school life and how she feels anxious and out of place there. We'd probably shoot them in the multimedia room where we have our weekly media class. These will only be 1-2 scenes in the music video, but they will be significant and impactful (hopefully).
We'd also shoot scenes in the streets of the Philippines to show the protagonist wandering around... these scenes would be there to give the acting more impact, and mostly because the Philippines has very beautiful streets and places.
