Cast
So, for the cast, we want actors who are not Pakistanis because we want to keep the One Ok Rock element in our music video (Since they are Japanese and always have Japanese actors in their music videos). So we chose Myiesha as our protagonist because she looks Filipino and is half Filipino. We also chose Myiesha because she has a lot of talent in acting and makeup so I knew that she would easily pull off this task and would make it look like we got professional actors in our music video.
For the sister, I asked Myiesha to recommend any other Filipino actors because she obviously knows a lot more Filipinos than I do and her family is also Filipino, so she might have found someone easier than I did. As a result, we ended up asking her cousin to play her sister in the music video. I didn't know much about her; all I knew was that her name is Jeane Marie Borlagdan, but I assumed that because Myiesha and her share the same bloodline, she would be equally talented, and believe me when I say she did not disappoint!
